Introducing the new Petworth Main Street program!

We are proud to announce that the nonprofit Uptown Community Initiative has been selected to expand its programing with the Petworth Main Street Program. A partner program to the Uptown Main Street, the Petworth Main Street began in 2022, and serves the commercial corridors of the Petworth neighborhood and a part of Brightwood.

Corridors served include Upshur Street from 8th to 13th Street NW and Georgia Avenue from Upshur to Missouri Ave NW. UCI looks forward to seeing all the great progress Petworth Main Street will make in improving Ward 4 and our city!
