Senior-Friendly Business Workshop

Join us for our first senior-friendly business workshop. Small business owners on Uptown Main Street's corridor and across the District are invited to learn ways that they can make their establishments more inclusive and welcoming to the senior community. This interactive workshop will be held at the WMATA Bus Barn with a practicum inside a number of small businesses on Upper 14th Street. Bring your walking shoes and your best ideas!

Meet our Facilitator!
Bill McLeod serves as the Executive Director of Historic Dupont Circle Main Streets. Prior to that, he was the Executive Director of the Mount Vernon Triangle CID, a business improvement district on the East End of Washington DC, for six years. And before that, he was the Executive Director of Barracks Row Main Street for four years. He also worked for the National Trust for Historic Preservation's National Main Street Center for seven years and the Heritage Tourism program for one year. Mr. McLeod has an undergrad degree from Houghton College in Social Science and an MBA from George Washington University in Management.
